The Welsh Assembly Government set up ‘Communities First’ in areas in Wales that were facing the most challenges and hardship. Each ‘Communities First’ area has money from the Assembly to set up a Partnership of people who live and work in the area. The Partnership meets monthly to discuss and find solutions to some of the issues. The Partnership aims to get local people involved in improving their areas and their own prospects and we bring in funding and support to make things happen.

❖Communities First is changing! 13.4.12
The Welsh Government has set three main outcomes for the new programme: Healthy, Prosperous and Learning Communities and work is underway to plan out how it will be delivered.
We would like your help to develop work ideas and projects. Each area (cluster) is tasked with delivering a number of projects which will make a positive contribution to each outcome. This survey is about finding which projects and ideas you think will make the most difference. To thank you for your time (about 5 minutes) you will have the chance to be entered into a prize draw in which 5 participants will be selected at random. If selected you will receive a £50 gift voucher for Cineworld or Chapter Arts Centre. Click here to complete the survey
